Nigeria
The total population of Nigeria is 149,229,090. The total fertility rate of Nigeria is 4.91. The crude birth rate is 36.65 births/1,000 populations. The crude death rate is 16.56 deaths/1,000 populations. The total life expectance is 46.94 years old. The infant mortality rate is 94.35 deaths/1,000 live births. The independence of Nigeria was in 1960 after many years of military rule.I believe they are a developing country, because they do not seem to have a good economy, because they don’t have good health care, because the death rate is really high.
Ethiopia
The population of Ethiopia is 85,237,338, with a TFR of 6.12. The crude birth rate is 43.66 births per every 1,000 people, and the death rate is 11.55 deaths per every 1,000 people. the life expectancy is 55.41 years old. the infant mortality rate is 80.8 deaths per every 1,000 live births. Ethiopia has been free form other rulers, except the Italians for a little while. because of years of war and refuge problems, I believe that Ethiopia is more like a redeveloping country, the just starting off.
Sudan
The population of Sudan is 41,087,825, with a TFR of 4.48. The crude birth rate is 33.74 births to 1000 people, and the death rate is 12.94 deaths to 1000 people. the life expectancy is 51.42 years old, and the infant mortality rate is 82.43 deaths per 1000 live births. Sudan has been under Islamic based military. Sudan has had two long civil wars in the last two decades. they have recently come up with The North/South Comprehensive Peace Agreement in 2005. Sudan is a developing country because it lakes some of the necessities needed to make a developed civilization.

Kenya
The population of Kenya is 39,002,772, with a TFR of 4.56. The birth rate is 36.64 births for 1000 people, and the death rate is 9.72 deaths for 1000 people. The life expectancy is 57.86 years , and the infant mortality rate is 54.7 deaths for 1000 live births. Kenya was founded as a Independent nation, but was ruled, through the years, by greedy and violent rulers. Kenya is a developed country because it has a somewhat organized government, even though it is corrupted.

Today we went to see Mr. Shoal's Native American collections. I thought they where really cool, the way they used the tiny beads and made those neat designs must have taken a lot of time and dedication. What really interested me was the fact that they soaked the hides in the animal's brain juice. I can't understand how they thought to do that. i enjoyed it and i learned more then i thought i would.

North America is one of the fastest nations that became developed. The United States is only 233 years old, and we have already become one of the most socially developed and economically rich countries in the world. North America was first populated by Native Americans. Then after Christopher Columbus found the Americas, many people came over from Europe and started settling English colonies here. They brought their guns and then completely pushed the Native Americans to the western half of North America. They started settling down in the east cost of North America.
After America was formed as a country of itself, many people started to migrate over to America. People came from Ireland, because of the wars and potato blight, And from England, and Italy, and from all over the place. The American population had no choice but to move out to the west. They settled out and created western territories. At that time the Native American where pushed out of their final homes, and where made to move into reservations.
When the civil war broke out, many African Americans moved over to the south, because of their new found freedom there. The cruelty of the “Jim crow laws” also persuaded where they would travel. The civil war is a big example of settlement, because, depending on where you lived, decided what side of the war you where on.
When industrialization came, many people moved over into the cities, especially the cities on the eastern half of America, like New York. For two reasons the eastern half of America is most populated. One is that the eastern half of America is where people first started living. And the second is that it is where industrialization first begun.

Global warming is the cause of the greenhouse effect, when air pollutants are not able to evaporate into the atmosphere, they create a wall, and then the heat from the sun can't escape, so the world gets hotter.
It is not quite that bad yet, but If we stop polluting the air right now, we can stop the progression of global warming before it gets too bad.
There is know convincing evidence that human emissions of gasses is even partly effecting global warming, 70.8% of the earth is water, so only 29.2% is land ,24.2% of earth is populated by humans, only about 30% of people dramatically pollute the air. And we are not even considering the rain forest that clean the air.

Corrective Critisism
i think if they want , and expect, us to learn, and get good grades, they should support us with the necessary equipment to learn, and get good grades. the Internet was out for a hole week, and now its out again, they should fix these problems over the summer, that's what summers for.

Globalization is the increasing interconnectedness of people and places through converging processes of economic, political, and cultural change. Those who are pro-globalization believe that wealth will “trickle down” from rich countries to poor countries. They also believe it will spread the benefits of new ideas and new technology to all nations. One organization that loans money to nations so they can invest in business is the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Trade Organization (WTO). On the other hand, those who are anti-globalization say it is not fair, because the richest 20% of the world’s people consume 80% of the world’s resources, resulting in inequities between"have" and "have nots"
Use the CIA Factbook to answer the following questions: In Luxembourg the life expectancy is 79.33, the infant mortality rate is 4.56 deaths per 1000 live births, the literacy rate is 100%, and the TFR is 1.78. In Libya the life expectancy is 77.26, the infant mortality rate is 21.05 deaths per 1000 live births, the literacy rate is 82.6%, and the TFR is 3.08.
We often categorize nations as being “developed” or “developing” nations. Vietnam and Mexico would be considered developing nations; Japan and Canada are developed nations.
The current world population is over 6,790,062,216 billion people. The number that measures how many children the average woman in a nation will bear is known as the Total Fertility Rate, which is abbreviated as TFR. When this number is exactly 2.1, then the population stays the same; if it’s higher, the population goes up, and if it’s lower, the population decreases. The population is growing fastest in developing nations.
A population pyramid that is shaped just like a pyramid -- wide on the bottom and narrow at the top -- shows a country whose population is growing. If it is shaped more like a vase or a soda bottle, that nation’s population is shrinking. Young people are found at the bottom of the pyramid, and Men are found on the left hand side.
When discussing migration, people who are entering a country are known as immigrant, and people who are leaving a country are known as emigrant.
People leave their country for many reasons. An example of a push force is unemployment, and an example of a pull force is better health care. If a nation’s net migration rate is a high number, it means more people are leaving the country than are arriving.
STEP THREE: In a short, well-written essay, answer ONE of the following questions:
1) Some people feel very strongly in their pro-globalization opinions, while some anti-globalization advocates have different beliefs. It’s likely that the truth lies somewhere in between. What do you think is the “middle ground” in this argument? Be sure to provide evidence for your opinion.
STEP FOUR: First, go to the following website and read the news story you will find there:
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/24/world/americas/24mexico.html
then, in a short yet brilliant essay, summarize that story by relating it to our studies of immigration in class. Try to use terms from the text and from our class discussions.

Globalization is helping some developing countries, but most of the poor people aren’t getting the money and goods because the rich people are being greedy and taking it all. Now it is true that some poor people had plenty of opportunities to get a job and they don’t deserve the money, but there are some poor people who haven’t had the opportunities to have a job. I think we should use globalization to create new, easy, jobs so the people can deserve the money, and not just give handouts to everyone; even the drug addicts, who if you gave money would just buy drugs.

The net migration rate of America is manly built up be people from Mexico. Most Mexican people say that they would move to America if they could. There are also Mexican that are coming here illegally, and there is a good rate of them coming in legally too. 57% of Mexican who live here say that it is better here than where they were. Only 14% don’t think it is better. The population is growing in America.

The global ressestion has made people worse off. the the hardest hit are the migrent workers. they travel from place to place, and they have to spend money more then people who live in a permanet place.

UK population hits 61 million
(the Independent)
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/uk-population-hits-61-million-1777930.html
the UK just hit there highest population of 61 million people! an increase of 2 million since 2001. an increase brought on by the high fertility rate. it is confirmed that it is the biggest population increase in history. the vast migration to Europe, has slowed to a trickle. so the population increase doesn't seem like it's going to be their for long.

Never before in human history have so many people been on the move.
190 million people live outside the country of there birth. They are migrants.
The one thing that drives globalization is money.
The reason people leave there home countries is for economic opportunities.
Of all the migrants in the world, a third live in industrial countries (Japan, Germany, France, Canada, united states, Italy, and the united kingdom,) and most go to cities.
1/3 of the population growth in the USA is migration.
They move also because of
§ War
§ Persecution
§ Famine
§ Environmental destruction
Refugees- A person who flees his/her country because of well founded fear based on race, ethnicity, religious beliefs, or political affiliation.
push forces- civil strife, economic degradation, or unemployment.
pull forces- good economic standing, better health.
The difference between immigration and emigration , you immigrate into a country, you emigrate out of a country.
Middle east has oil, so more people are flooding to the middle east.

Even though Ireland is a developed country, it still has more population growth because all kind of American Irish are coming bake, in more numbers than the left. The tfr is not to the average tfr needed to keep the population on its own so its good that more people are migrating. In Ireland the death rate is higher then in Estonia , so the population difference isn't going to be that deferent for long.
